I just thought it was cute to make a post about Mattel releasing a new line of African American Barbie dolls.

The best part of these dolls are the different skin tones as do many black women have different skin shades. Not like the old basic Christy doll that was just a darker shade. Leaving many lighter toned black girls wanting the Caucasian Barbie. I know I used to LOVE all the Barbies growing up, although Theresa was my favorite!

I am a tad bit jealous, but excited at the same time. Now Many young black girls can buy a Barbie that looks closer to them...
